It is possible to import data that has been collected and preprocessed with the Forest Management Planning Package (FMPP).

tog_minusHow to import FMPP data
1.Open or create a project with the database you wish to store the data in.
2.Select Import FMMP Data... from the menu Data Management > Import.
3.In "Path to files", click Browse ... and select the folder where plant.dat, ptfi.dat and ytor.dat are located.
4.Enter a name or the forest area to be created in field "Description".
5.You can choose between creating a new top level node, or select an existing area node under which the imported data will be placed.
6.Under Input parameter, enter:
a.County to assign imported data (not required if the data contains coordinates).
b.Height model for sample trees (for applying height calibration with sample trees, should normally be set to "SoderbergWithTreeAge").
c.Type av sampling data (should normally be set to "Strata").

7.Click on the Import-button.

Note! "Type of data" is usually "Strata", which means that the data is a sample of stands that represent a forest area. If "Type of Data" is set to "Stand" it means that every stand has been inventoried or that imputation has been used in FMPP with the so called "Gaffla"-funktion. "Gaffla" used an imputation method to assign sample plot data to each stand.
