Application: PlanEval

In the Mcda Model Type window you select the methods to be used for weighting the different objectives (1), and define how good each alternative is with respect to different objectives (2).

“AHP” (Analytical Hierarchical Process) means that you make pairwise comparisons between all objectives or alternatives. You need six comparisons with four objectives, ten comparisons with five objectives, fifteen comparisons with six objectives etc. If there are many objectives (or alternatives) it may be preferable to use the “Direct marks” method instead. This means that you set a mark for each objective on a percentage scale, and demand only one judgement per objective (or alternative).
