Summary | 0000446: Irrelevant data checks when importing stand register just for linking to existing area
Description | You can import a stand register just for linking it to an existing area, for example to provide UserDefined variables to an imported FMPP data set. Still, data checks are performed that are not relevant. Observations: 1. MeanAge is required 2. If including SiteIndesSpecies in the stand register (I want that because I want to be able to use variable StandObjectData.SiteIndesSpeciesOriginal in a domain condition), the following happens: -SIS is prompted for and the import fails -Basal area is asked for since default height is calculated and is > 7, and the import fails again. I stopped there, I suspect more checks may follow like a domino. Proposed solution: Allow user to activate/inactive data checks. Set inactive as default when stand register is to be linked only.
