Priority functions in RegWise

Over the years the priority functions used in RegWise have not been documented properly. Please let us know if you have any specific question and we will try to answer as well as updating this page.

Internally RegWise uses several "Planners" - ThinningPlanner, CleaningPlanner, FinalFellingPlanner and so forth. These planners use prioritization functions to determine which treatments should be applied to which stands. Usually a stand will be assigned a value for priority for a certain treatment, and the stands with highest priority will be treated until a target is met. For example, in the FinalFellingPlanner such a target can be a fraction of the total growth.
