Harvest Residue Extract. Cost

Harvest residue extraction cost in thinnings. Cost per ton = A0 + A1*x, where x is terrain transport distance

WidthBetweenStripRoads

(only if SkogforskAdvanced is selected)

Defines the width in meters of the area in-between adjacent strip roads (not the distance between stip roads).

Final felling

ForwarderCostFinalFelling

Defines the cost, in SEK per G15-hour, of using forwarder in final felling.

ForwarderCostFinalFellingCoefficients

(only if SkogforskSimple is selected)

B0 defines the constant in function calculating the cost of using forwarder in final felling.
B1 defines the first coefficient in function calculating the cost of using forwarder in final felling.

HarvesterCostFinalFelling

Defines the cost, in SEK per G15-hour, of using harvester in final felling.

HarvesterCostFinalFellingCoefficients

(only if SkogforskSimple is selected)

A0 defines the constant in function calculating the cost of using harvester in final felling.
A1 defines the first coefficient in function calculating the cost of using harvester in final felling.
A2 defines the second coefficient in function calculating the cost of using harvester in final felling.

Harvest Residue Extract. Cost

Harvest residue extraction cost in final felling. Cost per ton = A0 + A1*x, where x is terrain transport distance.

Stump Harvest Cost

Harvest and extraction cost for stumps in final felling. Cost per ton = A0 + A1*x, where x is terrain transport distance.

Machine

DrivingSpeed

Defines the driving speed, in meters per minute, of forwarder and harvester used in thinning and final felling.

FinalFellingCapacity

Defines the carry capacity in tonne of forwarder used in final felling. Typical value with "large" sized machine = 17.9.

FirstThinningCapacity

Defines the carry capacity in tonne of forwarder used in first thinning. Typical value with "small" sized machine = 9.5.

Koverride

(only if SkogforskAdvanced is selected)

Defines an array of settings, K, that will override any other values of WidthBetweenStripRoads with; if StripRoad then 15.6 m, if StripRoadMidFieldMachine then 15.4 m, if StripRoadMidFieldChainsaw then 20.2 m, and if FinalFelling then 25.9 m.

LaterThinningCapacity

Defines the carry capacity in tonne of forwarder used in second and following thinnings. Typical value with "medium" sized machine = 13.6.

Soverride

(only if SkogforskAdvanced is selected)

Defines an array of settings, S, that will override any other values of WidthBetweenStripRoads with; if StripRoad then (1.0 x WidthBetweenStripRoads), if StripRoadMidFieldMachine then (2/3 x WidthBetweenStripRoads), if StripRoadMidFieldChainsaw then (2/3 x WidthBetweenStripRoads), and if FinalFelling then 13.1 m.

Terrain

Slope

(only if SkogforskAdvanced is selected)

0-10 % implies the average slope of the analysis area is very moderate, used if no other information is available in the database.
10-20 % implies the average slope of the analysis area is moderate, used if no other information is available in the database.
20-33 % implies the average slope of the analysis area is normal, used if no other information is available in the database.
33-50 % implies the average slope of the analysis area is substantial, used if no other information is available in the database.
>50 % implies the average slope of the analysis area is very substantial, used if no other information is available in the database.

SlopeDataSource

(only if SkogforskAdvanced is selected)

DefaultValue implies that the value set in Slope (above) will be used.
Database implies that slope values are available in the database, usually at the stand-level.

Surface

(only if SkogforskAdvanced is selected)

NoSurfaceBoulders implies the average surface of the analysis area show no boulders, used if no other information is available in the database.
FewBoulders implies the average surface of the analysis area show few boulders, used if no other information is available in the database.
ScatteredBoulders implies the average surface of the analysis area show scattered boulders, used if no other information is available in the database.
FrequentBoulders implies the average surface of the analysis area show frequent boulders, used if no other information is available in the database.
LargeBoulders implies the average surface of the analysis area show large boulders, used if no other information is available in the database.

SurfaceDataSource

(only if SkogforskAdvanced is selected)

DefaultValue implies that the value set in Surface (above) will be used.
Database implies that surface values are available in the database, usually at the stand-level.

TerrainTransportDistance

Defines the average one-way terrain transport distance in meters to forward yield, from the centre of the stand to nearest road.

TerrainTransportDistanceDataSource

DefaultValue implies that the value set in TerrainTransportDistance (above) will be used.
Database implies that terrain transport distance values are available in the database, usually at the stand-level.

Assortments

(only if SkogforskAdvanced is selected as harvest cost model) Allows you to control how the costs of harvests are simulated, by defining different assortments of the yield. This includes any different quality classes in a certain assortment.

NbAssortments

Defines the average number of assortments in any harvest.

NbAssortmentsInFinalFelling

Defines the average number of assortments in final felling.

NbAssortmentsInSelectionHarvesting

Defines the average number of assortments in selection felling.

NbAssortmentsInThinning

Defines the average number of assortments in thinning.
