In this dialogue, you can adjust simulation or treatment program generation settings prior to starting the process. For further usage tips and instructions, please see the Heureka Help. [[1]]

RegWise

The following options and settings are available in the dialogue window Simulation:

Select Result Variables: Allows selection of which result variables to store in the result database.
Start year simulation: (to be added)
Reference year: Adjusts the year to which the underlying indata is projected.
Simulation name (optional): Allows naming the simulation.
Max periods: Sets the number of periods for which the simulation results will be stored.
Random seed: Random seed used in all stochastic models and functions enabled in the control tables. Must be at least 1, otherwise ignored. In deterministic application, ensures that the same result is obtained even if run on different computers. If deterministic application and seed 0 or less, result could vary between computers. In stochastic application, seed is used if at least 0, otherwise "truly" random.
Random seed Control Categories: Random seed for (if > 0) stochastically assigning treatment units within a forest domain to control categories.
Discount rate (%): Real discount rate used for calculating net present values.
Additional periods: (to be added)
Log trees to file: Allows storing tree results to files for detailed analyses and scrutinizing.
