The inventory is always linked to an analysis area, and usually to a sample of the stands in this area.
The setup concern several details (...) but mainly the variables to be estimated in the inventory. When this is decided, a template is exported to the data collector. Inventory data can then be imported in a running manner, added and checked for errors until completed. A complete inventory is finally exported and imported in the Heureka forest database.
