In the treatment program generator control table you can configure how treatment programs are generated.

Program restrictions

Allows you to control how treatment programs are generated, and how many treatment programs that are generated.

CcDelayMax

Defines the maximum periods to await final felling after the corresponding lowest allowable stand age has been reached.

CcDelayMin

Defines the minimum periods to await final felling after the corresponding lowest allowable stand age has been reached.

CcWait

Defines the minimum periods between thinning and final felling.

CleaningVariation

Defines the number of periods, from a certain stand age, to vary the simulation of cleaning.

ManagementSystem

Allows you to select the type of management system to generate treatment programs according to:
EvenAged generates alternatives for even-aged management.
Continuous generates alternatives for continuous cover management (also referred to as CCF, uneven-aged, selective felling, or selection harvesting).
Unmanaged generates an alternative without any treatments (also referred to as free development).

MaxAlternatives (only if EvenAged is selected)

Defines the maximum number of alternative treatment programs to be generated for a treatment unit.

MaxAlternativesToSave (only if EvenAged is selected)

Defines the maximum number of alternative programs to be saved for a treatment unit. Saved programs have net present values higher than all unsaved.

MaxThinnings

Defines the maximum number of thinnings to be simulated in a treatment unit, in the same generation.

MinIntervalThinnings

Defines the minimum number of periods between thinnings simulated in a treatment unit.

ThinningVariation

Defines the number of periods, from a certain stand age, to vary the simulation of first thinning.

TreatmentPriority

Defines the order, by Prio1, Prio2, and Prio3, in which treatments are to be generated in the alternative programs.

Program restrictions - fertilization

Allows you to control if and how fertilization programs are generated.

FertilizationPolicy

Allows you to select the type of system to generate alternative programs (in treatment units where site and stand restricitions are met) according to:
FP_NONE generates alternatives without any fertilization.
FP_FIRSTTHIN generates alternatives with fertilization prior to first thinning.
FP_FINALFELLING generates alternatives with fertilization prior to final felling.
FP_FINALFELLING_TIMESTWO generates alternatives with two fertilizations, with a time interval of five years, prior to final felling.
FP_LASTTHIN_AND_FINALFELLING generates alternatives with fertilization prior to last thinning and final felling.
FP_EVERY_THIN generates alternatives with fertilization prior to all thinnings.
FP_EVERY_HARVEST generates alternatives with fertilization prior to all harvests.
FP_INTENSIVE generates alternatives with intensive fertilization, performed already in young stands and repeated with a certain time interval. Note that certain site restrictions must be met to allow for intensive fertilization.

Program restrictions - forest fuel

Allows you to control if and how forest fuel extraction programs are generated.

FinalFelling

True generates alternatives with extraction following final felling, False do not.

SelectionFelling

True generates alternatives with extraction following selection felling, False do not.

Thinning

True generates alternatives with extraction following thinning, False do not.

Simulate plant initial period

Allows you to control if and how regeneration by planting is simulated in initial periods (in treatment units with bare land after final felling).

MaxAge

Defines the maximum stand age still allowing regeneration by planting.

PropEmptyPlots

Defines the minimum proportion of "empty plots" (i.e. no seedlings or saplings present at the plot) at the stand-level allowing regeneration by planting.

SimPlantFreeDevelopment

True simulates regeneration by planting bare land even if ManagementSystem is defined as Unmanaged, False do not.
