This result group contains: Results that describe management activities. Results include data for each treatment unit, alternative and time period. There may be more than one activity in a period.. Note that treatment results that depend on bucking (aptering) are not displayed here, but in Financial Data (such as timber assortments, harvest revenues and bio fuels). Note also the distinction between Cut trees (all trees felled during a management activity) and Extracted trees (only those trees that are forwarded and further utilized as forest products).
Variable name | Unit | Description |
Management System (version 2.5 and later) | code | Type of management system applied for the generation that the treatment is part of. 0=Unmanaged, 1=Uneven-aged management (CCF), 2=Even-aged management, 3=Unknown |
Treatment | code | Type of treatment applied |
Volume Cut | m3sk/ha | Volume harvested per species |
Volume Cut Total | m3sk/ha | Volume harvested, all species included. |
Year | yr | Number of years since the start of the simulation |
Year Offset | yr | Number of years since start of the given period |
Stems Cut Total | Stems/ha | Number of stems harvested, all species included |
Avg Volume Per Felled Tree | m3sk/tree | Average volume of cut trees |
Dgv Harvest | cm | Basal area weighted mean diameter of cut trees |
Dg Harvest | cm | Diameter of mean basal area tree harvested |
Thinning Form All Species | Ratio | Thinning form, thinning from above or below expressed as relative diameter = Dg cut trees/Dg remainig |
Thinning Form per Species | Ratio | Same as above, but for a specific species. Dg-values includes the given species only. |
Thinning Grade Partial | % | If a treatment unit has more than one plot, thinning may be applied to only some of the plots. Thinning Grade Partial refers to the thinning grade on the plots that are thinned. |
Thinning Grade per Species | % | Thinning grade per species, proportion of basal area harvested. All plots included, even with no thinning. |
Dg Cut per Species | cm | Diameter of mean basal area tree cut per species |
Thinning Type | code | Type of thinning performed, Ordinary or biofuel thinning |
Stems Cut Per Species | stems/ha | No of stems cut per species |
Regeneration Method | code | Regeneration method |
Regeneration Species | SpeciesCode | Regeneration species |
Treated Area | Area proportion | If a treatment unit has more than one plot, a treatment may be applied to only some of the plots. Treated Area is area proportion of the treatment that those plots represent. For example, if a treatment unit has ten plots, and all plots have the same inclusion probability (i.e. all plots in the treatment unit have equal size), and the treatment is applied to only size of the plots, then Treated Area is 0.6. |
Enforced | true/false | True if the treatment has been enforced by some specific rules that overrides the standard rules. For example, if a thinning has been done despite the thinning guide criteria is not met. |
Breeding level | code | None, Provenance or High Genetic Yield |
Plot Id YoungForestDb | integer | Plot Id from young forest database if Regeneration Model has been set to Database in control table Treatment Model (seldom used). |
