Age Calibration Failed

Cause

The age calibration function failed because one or more trees got a negative age. This can happen if there is a large discrepancy between the estimated age of the inventoried trees and the assigned initial age for the reference unit.

The age calibration function adjusts the tree age assigned by the chosen age function so that the mean age of the trees matches the initial age defined for the reference unit.

Age calibration is not performed if an initial age not is set, or if maturity class is thicket (A2) or plant forest (B1).

Resolution

Correct the initial age or the maturity class of the reference unit in the database (you need to do this directly in the database or with another application)

or

Try again with the tree age calibration function disabled
