Improve Performance
There are several things you can do to improve performance so that treatment programs are generated faster and can be optimized faster.
Only include the result types you need
The more result types you include, the longer time it will take to generate treatment programs. The optimization process is not directly affected by the number of result types.
In particular, biomass, Q-model, and dead wood takes long time to calculate.
How do I do it?
On the Project menu, select Generate Treatment Programs. Uncheck the result types you don't need in the Result Types dialog. Select Ok. (This starts treatment program generation).
Restrict the number of alternatives generated
The more alternatives that are generated, the longer time it takes to generate treatment programs, and it also takes longer time to perform optimization.
How do I do it?
Reduce number of prediction units
If you have treatment units with many prediction units, it will take very long time to generate treatment programs for each treatment unit.
