Heureka is a multidisciplinary research programme carried out by the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and the Forestry Research Institute of Sweden (Skogforsk). The research programme is developing software for forestry management planning and analysis, with special focus on multi-purpose forestry. The softwares applications are intended for both large-scale and small-scale forestry and are designed for different users´ specific problem areas. Five application are being developed:
